Firewall & Server Support

Firewall setup and hardening, server maintenance, and network security for offices in Coimbatore — on-site where it matters, remote monitoring in between.

Start a project

We set up and maintain the network and server infrastructure behind an office — firewall configuration and hardening, server maintenance and backups, and network security reviews — with on-site work for what needs a physical visit and remote monitoring and support for everything that doesn't.

Who it's for

Offices and small businesses in Coimbatore that need a properly configured firewall, ongoing server maintenance, or a network security review — whether or not there's an in-house IT person.

What's included

  • Firewall setup, configuration, and hardening
  • Server installation, maintenance, and patching
  • Backup configuration and periodic restore testing
  • Network security review and vulnerability checks
  • Remote monitoring with on-site visits when needed
  • Documentation so the setup isn't a black box to whoever inherits it

Our process

  1. 01Assess the current network, servers, and firewall configuration on-site
  2. 02Recommend fixes — hardening, backup setup, patching priorities
  3. 03Implement changes in a maintenance window, minimizing disruption
  4. 04Set up remote monitoring and alerting
  5. 05Document the configuration for handover
  6. 06Ongoing support — remote by default, on-site when the issue needs it

What "hardening" actually means

Most firewalls run for years on close to their factory-default configuration, with rules added ad hoc whenever something broke and nobody removed afterward — which usually means far more open ports and permissive rules than the business actually needs. Hardening is going through that configuration deliberately: closing what isn't used, tightening what is, and documenting the reasoning so the next person doesn't have to reverse-engineer it from scratch.

Why backups get tested, not just scheduled

A backup job that reports success every night can still be silently backing up corrupted data, missing a folder that got excluded by an old rule, or writing to storage that's quietly full — and none of that shows up until the day someone actually needs to restore from it. Periodic restore testing is the only way to know a backup is real instead of assumed, so we build it into the maintenance schedule rather than treating a green checkmark as proof.

Frequently asked questions

We work both ways — as the sole technical support for offices without in-house IT, or alongside an existing IT person on the parts that need deeper firewall or server expertise.
